| I went skiing for about an hour on Tuesday, which kicked my ass. I was so freaking sore from the eliptical machine on Monday so I was wiped out. I am going to try to get to the slopes at least once a week. I hope to go for a longer time next time.
I took a day off on Wednesday so today I have to get my ass in gear today. I've already done 10 minutes on the eliptical and I plan on doing another 10-15 mins in a few. I am also going to do 150 crunches, jump rope and lift free weights after as well. Alisa and my friend from work Michelle said they would also run the marathon so that is exciting news. | | |
| Ok, I sorta started my marathon training a couple of months ago, but I decided that I went too gung-ho a little early. Sooooo.....I started training again today. My parents bought an eliptical machine so I will be able to incorporate that into my training schedule. I am going to work out 6 days a week using the eliptical machine, the treadmill and once a week I am going to go skiing for about 2-3 hours a day. I am not going to try to run quite yet because it will be a total joke and not even worth it. I haven't run in probably two months so I am going to start out slow and build my tolerance back up...again.
Today, I worked out for 20 minutes on the eliptical machine, did 100 crunches, worked with free weights for about 5 minutes, did 20 lunges and jumped rope 100 times. The eliptical machine KILLED me since I haven't done much working out lately AND its exactly like the eliptical machine at Sterling. Kate, you know what I'm talking about...hopefully, this will get easier! The lunges killed me too cause I did them last and my legs were so weak. I need to get in shape! | | |
